Longline shorts and knee-high boots are without-a-doubt one of this season’s biggest trends. I mentioned in my f/w trends video that I first spotted this duo last year but also spoke candidly on how I wasn’t completely sold. Well, fast forward a year and here we are. Styling knee-high boots and leather longline shorts. And honestly, I’m kind of obsessed!

And though I plan to mainly wear these shorts with knee-high and combat boots, it should also be noted that you can easily wear them with chelsea and/or western-inspired boots as well!. — Especially when you opt for a tonal look!

Fall fashion is officially underway and though we’re still experiencing highs of 80 degrees here in the Bay Area, I’m fully preparing for the cooler weather to come. From knee-highs and ankle-grazers to chunky combats or the more sleek-and-minimal, here’s a round-up of some of my favorite high-street and investment styles to snag for the season.

Tomorrow is the first day of fall and though I’m sure it’ll still be hot here in the Bay Area, I had to commemorate the last day of summer wearing yet another Cecilie Bahnsen dress. I scored this number at the tail end of the Net-A-Porter sale but if you caught my summer sale haul video, then you’d know that one of the straps broke while headed to shoot this look. Needless to say though, I reached out to their customer service and they refunded me some coins to get the strap fixed.

Nonetheless, I’m still 100% obsessed w/ this dress and will next be figuring out how to style it with light layers and boots as we head into fall. xX
